Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Snapkit (snapkit.store), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
Snapkit provides online tools for creating QR codes. Our services include:
- Static QR codes — free, browser-based generation with no account required. Static codes encode data directly and cannot be edited after creation.
- Dynamic QR codes — trackable, editable QR codes that redirect through our servers. Dynamic QR codes require an account and are subject to plan limits.
- Scan analytics — usage statistics for dynamic QR codes, available on eligible paid plans.
3. Accounts
To use dynamic QR codes, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Providing accurate and current information
- Notifying us promptly of any unauthorized use
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase paid plans, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
4. Plans and Pricing
Current plans and pricing are listed on our pricing page. As of the last update, plans include:
- Free Trial — 14-day trial with 1 dynamic QR code and basic scan count. After the trial ends, the QR code stops redirecting unless you upgrade.
- Starter ($5, one-time) — adds 5 dynamic QR codes with lifetime access and basic scan count. Multiple packs can be purchased.
- Pro ($9, one-time) — adds 25 dynamic QR codes with lifetime access and basic scan count. Multiple packs can be purchased.
- Unlimited ($7/month) — unlimited dynamic QR codes with full scan analytics, including device breakdown, browser stats, and scan trends.
We reserve the right to change pricing for new purchases with reasonable notice. Price changes do not affect existing one-time purchases. For active subscriptions, we will provide advance notice before applying new recurring rates.
All prices are listed in US dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes (including VAT or sales tax) may be added at checkout as determined by Stripe based on your location.
5. Payments and Billing
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.
One-time purchases (Starter and Pro packs): Payment is charged in full at the time of purchase. QR code credits are added to your account immediately upon successful payment.
Subscriptions (Unlimited plan): Your subscription renews automatically each billing period (monthly) at the then-current rate until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You will receive a receipt for each charge via Stripe.
You can manage your billing, update payment methods, and view invoices through the "Manage Billing" option in your dashboard, which redirects to the Stripe Customer Portal.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your Unlimited subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal (Manage Billing in your dashboard). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to Unlimited features until that date. After cancellation, your account is downgraded to the free plan and dynamic QR codes will stop redirecting unless you purchase a one-time pack or resubscribe.
Refund Policy
Because our products are digital services delivered immediately upon purchase:
- One-time packs (Starter, Pro): All sales are final. We do not offer refunds once QR code credits have been added to your account.
- Subscriptions (Unlimited): We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of the paid period.
- Exceptions: If you were charged in error (e.g., duplicate charge) or experienced a technical failure that prevented delivery of the purchased service, contact us within 14 days and we will investigate and issue a refund where appropriate.
Refund requests should be sent via our contact page.
7. Plan Limits and Service Availability
Your use of dynamic QR codes is subject to the limits of your current plan. We reserve the right to:
- Enforce QR code limits per plan tier
- Disable redirect functionality when a free trial expires or a subscription lapses
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice
- Perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that may temporarily affect availability
Static QR code generation remains available without an account, subject to these terms.
8. User Responsibilities
You agree to use Snapkit only for lawful purposes. You are prohibited from:
- Creating QR codes that link to malicious, illegal, or harmful content
- Using the service to distribute spam, phishing, or unwanted communications
- Attempting to circumvent plan limits, trial restrictions, or security measures
- Reverse engineering, scraping, or overloading our systems
- Using the service in any way that could damage or impair its functionality
- Reselling or sublicensing access to the service without our written permission
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without refund, at our sole discretion.
9. Intellectual Property
QR codes generated using our service are yours to use as you see fit, subject to these terms. However, the Snapkit website, its original content, features, branding, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Snapkit is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that scan analytics will be complete or accurate.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Snapkit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Snapkit from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your QR code content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms of Service on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. For material changes affecting paid subscribers, we will provide reasonable advance notice. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
